Our Story...
Here’s my story…
I have been tinkering with the creation of my lotions for some time now. This was a personal exploration for me because I was tired of the sticky feeling left behind by commercial lotions. Even if you did happen to find a “good” one, you were going to pay a premium for it.
I wanted something gentle enough to use on my body from head to toe, and something the rest of my family wouldn’t balk at. I have three sons (plus my husband), and they are “manly men,” none of whom were crazy about the idea of using lotions. With a little trial & error, I was able to convince them that it’s easy even for men to take care of their skin.
I wanted a lotion that smelled amazing, but I didn’t like all the synthetic fragrances and preservatives I found in commercial products. (We also have "unscented" for those who are allergy sensitive.) I was aiming for simple and natural ingredients. What I found was a hard lotion, created with three ingredients: bee wax, coconut oil/butter, and essential oils. Simple, 1-2-3, and natural…from the earth. Pure joy and so fascinating!
I have enjoyed researching the right blends for these mixtures and adding the perfect essential oil fragrances to create these lotions, and now I want to share them with you. I hope you will enjoy using them as much as I do.
